Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of various electrical projects within commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Commercial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute electrical installations in commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and more.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure proper coordination of electrical work with other construction and maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, reporting progress to supervisors and project managers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in electrical technology, and changes in electrical codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
• Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, with a demonstrated track record of successfully completing electrical projects in commercial settings.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify electrical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with team members, clients, and other tradespeople.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while meeting project deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
